The ubuntu weekend?
Dapper, Edgy, Feisty, Gusty, Hardy, Intrepid. Like a child waiting for a new toy I’ve counted the days until they where released, waited for that friday, for that weekend when I will play with each of them. Burning the cd, preparing the partition, upgrading or doing a fresh install. Old and new packages, the tinkering, the new, the fun.
Like always I’ve waited and grabbed the image but this time something was more important. And I did not even had to to weight the two to know what had to be done. This weekend I did not burned the cd or installed Jaunty Jackalope but instead cleaned old windows wooden frames, applied insulation and sleeped. In a way that child has grown up.
