Fish curry

As I like fish very much this a recipe I adapted from various chicked curry recipes to use fish instead.

Ingredients

  • fish fillet (around 500g)
  • 1 onion, a bit of ginger, 1 small carrot
  • spices: salt, pepper, mustard seeds, 1 tbs curry madras, 1 tbs curcuma (turmenic)

Method

  • drain the fish and cut it in cubes
  • mix with 1/2 tbs curcuma and set aside
  • brown the onion with the mustard seeds
  • then add the curry and curcuma and mix for 1-2 minutes
  • add the fish for 5 minutes (to cook on the outside)
  • add 1/2 cup of water or water and white wine and let it cook until the liquid has evaporated to 50%
  • serve with white rice
  • enjoy
