TORT, torturi, s. n. Prăjitură (de obicei de formă cilindrică) făcută din mai multe straturi de aluat, având între ele straturi de cremă, de dulceață etc., acoperită cu o glazură sau cremă ornamentală etc. (sursa: dex). Din pacate nu stiu nici o sursa unde pot sa gasesc o felie de tort care sa respecte definitia de mai sus. Majoritatea “torturilor” din cofetarii consta intr-o matrita de plastic in care s-a turnat o crema groasa si sunt acoperite cu un strat de alta culoare....

I ended up with this recipe after searching for a nice holiday gift for my friends and the result was well received ;) Actually I did some tests and I migrated from cinnamon rolls to cinnamon, raisins rolls and finally to poppy seeds rolls cookies. Pacatoasele negrese

Aceasta este o reteta de post pentru niste prajituri pe cat de gustoase pe atat de simplu de facut. Si totusi parca rezultatul e prea bun, aproape pacatos de bun. Chapati

Yesterday I was cooking lentils (dal) curry which are one of my favorite and comfort dishes and when it was almost ready I realized I was really craving for some simple bread instead of rice so here was this very simple recipe which I realized is very similar to an indian bread (chapati). With cravings from this post I researched a bit and found this to be a very popular recipe including many variations. Banana bread I did a mix of all the recipes I found and here it is. Germknoedel

This is a tasty Austrian dessert/main dish recipe. It’s mainly a form of dumpling filled with jam, boiled then served with vanilla sauce (check the romanian recipe here). Germknoedel Ingredients (for 4 dumplings) dumplings: 2 cups flour 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt 25g melted butter 2 tbs sugar, 5g dried yeast, 2-3 tbs milk jam serving: vanilla sauce poppy seeds, confectioners sugar Method all ingredients have to be at room temperature mix sugar, milk and yeast and let them rest for 5 minutes mix with the flour, egg, salt and butter, cover and let the dough rest for 30-60 min in a warm place start heating 2-3 l of water with 1/2 tbs of salt in the meat time cut the dough in 4 and from each piece meld a round ball with a teaspoon of jam inside....

dumplings?

Totul a pornit de la germknoedel si ideea de a folosi aluatul si pentru altceva. Asa ca rezultatul a iesit ceva fara nume care am aflat ca intra in categoria dumpling si exista sub diferite nume si forme in toate bucatariile (momo, jiaozi, nume in romana?, etc.). Dumplings Ingrediente aluat: 1 ou, faina (cam 1 cana), putin unt. umplutura: carne tocata, 2 rosii, pasta de tomate, ceapa, ardei iute, ginger, tarhon sosul de fierbere: apa, pasta de tomate, sare, piper Metoda am facut un aluat cu o consistenta similara cu cea pentru minciunele am prajit ceapa tocata cu ginger si ardei iute adaugand apoi carnea tocata, rosiile taiate marunt si o lingura de bulion, sare si piper pentru un sos gros in care am adaugat tarhon taiat cam cu 5 minute inainte sa-l iau de pe foc pentru o aroma speciala am intins aluatul si l-am taiat in patratele pe care le-am umplut cu o parte din sosul gros obtinand niste piramide avand grija sa fie bine inchise intre timp am facut un sos subtire din pasta de tomate cu apa sare si piper gandindu-ma sa fie destul cat sa pot fierbe in el piramidele fara insa sa fie prea mult sos (am folosit o cratita cu baza mica) cand sosul subtire a inceput sa fiarba am pus piramidele (erau acoperite cam 2/3) si le-am lasat cam 10 minute intorcandu-le din cand in cand si avand grija sa nu se lipeasca la final am servit piramidele acoperindu-le cu sos (rest din sosul gros si cel subtire) pofta buna Dumplings

Biscuiti de Sf. Nicolae

Dupa mai mult de 3 ore de munca asteptat si pus tava, scos tava, racit tava iata rezultatul dupa reteta mai veche de aici.
